  1. Click on Start, All Programs, TaxWorks 2008, Support Tool (figure 1).

  2. Click on the Registry Menu (figure 2).

    Refer to figure 2 above for items a and b.

    1. Register all Files – This function resets the installation of the installed zip files and forces the .dll files to re-register upon the next startup of the program. This tool is necessary to fix certain errors that can occur. A message will appear describing what this option will do. Click Yes (figure 3).

      • After clicking Yes another message will appear confirming the files were reset (figure 4).

    2. Register a File – This option can be used to register an individual .dll file. Selecting this option will bring up a window to browse for any .dll file (figure 5).

      • After opening the file, a message will appear stating the file was registered successfully. Click OK (figure 6).
