Overview and links to the different items located within the Utilities menu.

Refer to figure 1 above for items a through k.
- Client Status - Selecting this item will open the Status Tool where you can view the current client status and change it to a new status (figure 2).

- Detail Statements - Selecting this item will open a detail statement for the field the cursor is currently in (figure 3).

- Calculator - Selecting this item will open the TaxWorks calculator. You can do calculations and paste the total in the current field your cursor is in by clicking Paste (figure 4).

- Notes - You can type any notes you want for a client. The notes are client specific (figure 5).

- Defaults - You can set and remove defaults as needed (figure 6).

- Set Default - Selecting this item will set a default for the field that the cursor is in (figure 7).

- Remove Default - Choosing this item will remove any previously set default for the field the cursor is currently in (figure 7).

- States & Pups - Selecting this item will open a screen where you can select the states you want to process. Pup codes may also be downloaded from this location (figure 8).

- Split Return - Selecting this option will split the return for MFS (figure 9).

- Upload Client to Support Team - Choosing this option will allow you to send a return to the support team (figure 10).

- Print Input Screen - Selecting this option will print the input screen and any information you have entered on it.
- Consents to Use or Disclose Tax Return Info - Selecting this option will open the Consent to Use/Disclose Tax Return Information window. The two steps in this window are required in order to prepare a return with a bank product (figure 11).
