- Check for Upgrades – Selecting Check for Upgrades will check the Internet for newer versions of the program available to download. If a newer version is available, a message will prompt you to open the "Upgrade Systems" window.
- Upgrade Systems – Selecting this option will open the Upgrade Systems screen. In this window you can choose to install upgrades from the Internet or from a TaxWorks CD-ROM.
- Upgrade from Removable Media – Selecting this option will allow you to install upgrades from a removable device (ex. a flash drive) after upgrades have been exported to that device.
- Configure Automatic Upgrades – Selecting Configure Automatic Upgrades will open the Automatic Upgrades Tool window. From here you can set a schedule to download upgrades from the Internet.
- Install Systems – Selecting Install Systems will open the Install Systems window and list all the available systems and states to install for TaxWorks. This option is used to add any additional systems and states needed that were either removed or not included in the initial installation of the program.
- Uninstall Systems – Selecting this option will open the Uninstall Systems window. This screen will allow you to remove any installed TaxWorks systems from your computer.
- Load Soft Fonts – Selecting this option will load the fonts to the printer selected for printing from TaxWorks. Soft fonts are normally loaded automatically when a print job is started. This option can be used to load the fonts into the printer's memory before printing.
