Description:
This feature allows you to view e-file and bank status information for clients that have been transmitted to the TaxWorks Filing Center, IRS, states, and banks.

Overview of the EF Center

  1. To access the EF Center, click on the EF Cntr button in TaxWorks (figure 1).

  2. Login the EF Center by entering in the User Name and Password (figure 2).

  3. Click on Database tab at the top of the screen (figure 3).

  4. The Database screen is divided into five categories. The Common section allows you to view returns At Filing Center, At IRS/State, Currently Rejected, Pending Bank Products, or All categories combined (figure 4).

  5. The Federal section will allow you to view returns that are At IRS, Federal Rejects, Accepted Federal, or All Federal returns (figure 5).

  6. The State section allows you to view returns that are At the State, State Rejects, Piggyback States, State-Only/Direct States, Accepted States, or All State returns (figure 6).

  7. The Bank section allows you to view the the Federal Bank Products, State Bank Products, Accepted RALs, Accepted RTs, or All Bank Products (figure 7).
