This feature allows you to use e-file and bank reports to help manage your clients' information.

Overview of the EF Center

  1. To access the EF Center, click on the EF Ctr button in TaxWorks (figure 1).

  3. Login to the EF Center by entering in your User Name and Password and clicking Log In (figure 2).

  5. Click on Reports button at the top of the EF Center (figure 3).

  7. Select one of the following options (figure 4):

EF

    1. Acknowledgement – This option allows you to view Acknowledgement Reports.
    2. EF Status – This option allows you to group returns by a particular status.
    3. EF Summary – This option provides you with a summary report for all returns that have been e-filed, based on the date(s) that you select.
    4. Confirmation Letters – This option allows you to print Federal and State confirmation letters, based on the date(s) that you select.
    5. Transmission – This option provides you with a transmission summary of all returns that have been transmitted, based on the date(s) that you select.

Bank

    1. Approved RAL Advance – This option allows you to list returns with approved Advance RAL/RT products.
    2. Bank Product Disbursments – This option allows you to list the status of bank disbursments.
    3. Denied RAL and RAL Advance – This allows you to run a report showing denied bank products.
    4. Outstanding Bank Products – This report will show you accounts who have not recieved funds, or have recieved partial funds.
    5. Preparer Fees from Bank – This option lists requested fees to be whitheld, the deposit date, and the deposit amount.
    6. Unpaid Bank Fees – This options allows you to see accounts with unpaid bank fees.

Archived

    1. Acks – This option will allow you to view Archived Acknowledgement.
    2. Alerts – This option will allow you to view any Archived Alerts.
    3. Bank – This option will allow you to view any Archived Bank products.
    4. Transmissions – This option will allow you to view any Archived Transmissions.
    5. Confirmations – This option will allow you to view any Archived Confirmations.

Admin

    1. Checks Stats – This option will allow the E-File Center Admin to view the Stats on Checks for the office, like how many are printed, ready to print, in progress, etc.
