This feature provides access to several helpful documents for e-filing. You can also link to the IRS, state, and bank Internet sites.

EF Center Overview

  1. To access the EF Center, click on the EF Cntr button in TaxWorks (figure 1).

  2. Login to the EF Center by entering your User Name and Password (figure 2).

  3. Under the Helpful Links heading there are several informational links (figure 3).

    1. IRS Website – Opens the IRS Home Page (www.irs.gov).

    2. Drain Times – Allows you to look up IRS Drain Times for 1040, 1065, and Extension returns.

    3. Release Dates – Shows estimated release dates for electronic filing of Federal and State forms.

    4. Refund Cycle Chart – Shows the estimated date of refund according to the date the return was processed and accepted by the IRS.

    5. Where's My Refund? – Links to the IRS website that allows the Taxpayer to track the refund.

    6. State EF Information – Shows the individual state EF requirements.

    7. State Mandate – Shows you which states are manatory to Efile.
