Refer to figure 1 above for items a through k.

  1. Reports – Various reports can be created for all clients showing on the Client Management screen.
  2. Labels – Labels can be created for clients as well as for state and government offices.
  3. Slip Sheets/Env – Slip sheets and Envelopes can be created for clients.
  4. Letters – Letters can be written and sent to one or more clients.
  5. Group – Select a certain group that will filter what is shown on the client management screen.
  6. Delete – Clicking this button will give you the option to delete one or more clients (figure 1).
    • Note: Deleting clients from client management will NOT delete them from client selection. Once returns have been deleted, they will just need to be re-processed for them to show in client management again.

  7. Tools – Clicking this button will give you the option to add or remove columns to be shown on the Client Management screen (figure 2).

  9. Ungroup – Clicking this button will delete the group that was set and display the clients that are selected from the System box in the right-hand corner of the Client Management screen.
  10. Secured Clients – Clicking this button will give you the option to show secured clients. You will need to type in the password for each secure folder, or the Master Password to unlock all secured folders (figure 3).
    • Note: If you do not have security or secure folders set up, this button will not be active.

  11. Help – Clicking this button will bring up the TaxWorks Help screen (figure 4).

  13. Close – This closes the Client Management screen.
